Just arrived at South Norfolk Classics

1956 MGA MK1 Roadster 2.0 Stage 2 Fast Road engine, Mazda MX5 5 speed gearbox, finished in Orient Red with Cream leather with Red piping.

This stunning MGA started life as a LHD USA export model with a 1.5 engine but has been sensibly modified to what you see today and what this car should have been like from the factory.

The brakes have now been upgraded to front discs rather than the standard fitment drums.

The lights have been changed and now use LED bulbs for better night time vision.

The restoration was carried out by long standing and highly respected MG Specialists Brown and Gammons in Baldock Herts, no stone was left unturned with approximately £35000 being spent on restoration.

Since the car was finished it has been sold twice by Vibed Classic Cars and by The Forge at Prees in Shropshire, both dealers achieved the £35000 asking price a testament to the restoration carried out by Brown and Gammons.

Since the last owner purchased the car the owner instructed a well regarded classic car specialist to literally check every last detail and tighten every single nut and bolt as well as a major service, the fitment of new Blockley Tyres and sound deadening under the carpets spending approximately another £9000.

Comes with full weather gear, brand new Black vinyl hood, Black vinyl full tonneau cover, new side screens.

This is the car that MG should have built and with its modifications it outperforms the MGA Twin cam .
